Very happy to have the cardinals make a nest and raise young ones in my lilac tree. I didn't want to get to close and have them fear me but I managed to get the best shot I could of their nest. I could hear them chirping each day. I hoped to get a photo of its head poking out but no chance. They just weren't there anymore. I did see two young cardinals a short time after. I'm certain it was them.
